Wanted: Fun-loving Pinoy Global Video Stars
Are you raring to go on an adventure anywhere in the Philippines? Do you love making your own videos and posting them online for your friends and family to view? If you answered yes to both questions, then you might just become the next star of a global advertisement that showcases that it’s definitely more fun in the Philippines!
Globe Telecom and the Department of Tourism join forces to get Pinoys to share their own fun experiences to help make a new global advertisement to promote the Philippines. The best videos will be shown in key cities around the globe—from New York City to Seoul, South Korea.
All you have to do is shoot a 15 to 30 second video that shows citizens around the world why it is more fun in the Philippines and invite the world to come over. You can check out the video of our very own Philippine Volcanoes featuring the Pinoy version of Rugby, “agawang buko” on You Tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4f9InRg700I). Photos and memes are also welcome. Visit www.facebook.com/globeph for more details. Deadline for submissions is on May 31, 2012.
